Library Cards

To obtain a library card, applicants must present acceptable identification to library staff.

A customer must present his/her library card or confirm customer status to borrow materials.

The library card is the property of the Confucius Institute in Edmonton, and must be returned on request.

Loss or theft of a library card must be reported immediately. Card holders are responsible for any materials borrowed on their cards until loss or theft is reported.

The library card must be renewed annually. All outstanding fines and fees must be cleared at time of renewal.

Borrowing

• Borrowing Limit: 10 items
• Borrowing Period: 4 weeks
• Renewals can be made at the Library Office, or by phone at 780-970-5233, or by email at library@confuciusedmonton.ca
• Late Fees: 25 cents per item per day
• Lost or Damaged Items: Replacement costs plus shipping costs
