In order to provide professional training to CIE visiting teachers and to improve their teaching, the CIE sent three visiting teachers, Molly Wu, Blair Ren and Uni Liu to the Chinese language teaching conference, hosted by the Confucius Institute of San Francisco State University in San Francisco.
During the two day conference, the teachers attended several sessions presented by professors and experts from USA and other countries. They also met many teachers from other Confucius Institutes and shared their teaching experiences.
This experience really helped our teachers discover new approaches about teaching Chinese to foreign language learners.
