With the support and help of the Quebec Confucius Institute, the CIE was very pleased to be able to invite a special guest, Professor Wang Xiao Yin, from Shanghai Normal University, to present a seminar on Chinese painting. The seminar provided basic knowledge and understanding of how to appreciate characteristics of Chinese painting from the perspectives of time and space.
The seminar was presented in English and to an audience of 30, composed of Chinese teachers, English art teachers and local Chinese painting lovers. It was well received by the attendees.
