2015 Principal Delegation to China

20151106_114339From October 30 to November 7, the CIE organized a principal delegation to pay a visit to China. This trip provided the opportunity for the principals to get to know their Shandong partner schools and also personally experience Chinese culture as well as gain more understanding of modern China.

During the trip, the delegation had a short visit to Shanghai, the most modern city in China.

In Shandong Province, the delegation had a meeting with Mr. Meng, the deputy minister of Shandong Education Department and other officials. The delegates also visited their partner schools to discuss and plan their exchanging programs and activities.

The last stop of the trip was Beijing. The delegation paid a visit to Hanban. During the visit, the delegates experienced the wonderful culture center and also met Mr. Wang, the deputy director general of Hanban, and other officials. The delegates also visited two famous historical sites, Great Wall and Forbidden City.

Although the visit was very short, the trip left a great impression and better understanding of China with all the delegates.
