Culture Day for Kildare Students at CIE

On June 23, the Confucius Institute hosted a group of 75 students and 4 teachers from Kildare School. The purpose of their trip was to experience Chinese Culture by playing some Chinese traditional games, including shuttlecock, rubber band skipping, ping pong, long rope jumping, Chinese Yo-yo and hopscotch. The students were divided in six groups taking part in the games in different stations in turns. The teachers tried to make the games interesting and easy for the students to learn. All the students were excited about and keen to learn each of the games. Ping Pong and Chinese Yo-yo are the most popular games for the students. Many students mentioned these Chinese culture games were amazing and they really enjoyed.  It was a great Chinese culture day for all the students and teachers.
