On September 28, the CIE hosted the first principal meeting of this new school year. It was attended by all principals of Confucius Classrooms, schools teaching Chinese language in EPSB. More than 20 principals and some assistant principals attended the meeting. Dr. Sandra Stoddard, Executive Director at EPSB, welcomed all attending this meeting.
Since some of the principals are new to the schools offering the Chinese programs, a brief introduction about the Confucius Institute and Confucius Classrooms was presented, providing background and information about the supports services the CIE makes available to schools to enhance the teaching and learning of Chinese language and culture.
