On October 16, the HSK and HSKK exams took place at the Confucius Institute in Edmonton. The candidates, from Calgary, Red Deer, Vermilion, and Edmonton, took the exams. The youngest candidate was only 6 years old.
HSKK is an oral exam which assesses the candidates’ speaking skills and verbal competency in Chinese. In recent years, more and more people are taking the exam.
