On June 17, 2023, the Alberta’s Young Talent Competition was held at West Meadows Baptist Church. The event was presented by the Edmonton Beijing Opera Association. The CIE sponsored the event in support of promoting traditional Chinese culture among the young people. The event provides a stage for the young people to display Chinese culture in various forms, such as Beijing opera, martial arts, singing, dancing, painting, and calligraphy.
