With the pandemic slowing down, 6 Chinese visiting teachers have arrived in Edmonton since January of this year. All of them have been assigned to a Confucius Classroom, providing support for the Mandarin bilingual program, or the Chinese Language and Culture program. So far, there are 13 visiting teachers working in Confucius Classrooms located in Edmonton, Lethbridge, and Fort McMurray. We are expecting more teachers coming during summer break.
