On October 1, 2023, the CIE took part in the Mid-autumn Festival organized by the Edmonton Chinese Bilingual Education Association (ECBEA) at West Edmonton Mall. The CIE teachers celebrated one of the most important Chinese festivals with Edmontonians by a form of traditional Chinese arts – Chinese knots. The CIE has cooperated with ECBEA for the past 15 years, promoting Chinese language and culture.
