Due to COVID-19 restrictions on public gathering, our CIE open house event will take place on-line (http://confuciusedmonton.ca/virtualopenhouse/) this year. The Confucius Institute in Edmonton continues to promote the Chinese language and the rich Chinese culture in Edmonton and the surrounding community. Many of our visiting teachers are assigned to assist in supporting the Chinese bilingual and the beginners Chinese bilingual programs in Edmonton Public Schools. We are hopeful that the CIE will be able to celebrate the Chinese language and culture in person soon.
