On December 4-6, 2023, the CIE organized the HSK test for high school students. 164 students from Lillian Osborne High School and M. E. LaZerte High School wrote the test. The CIE holds the HSK test for EPSB schools twice a year. In 2023, 881 students wrote the test.
On December 3, the CIE also hosted the HSKK, a Chinese oral test, for those people who were interested in studying or working in China.
